Driving the Legacy of Education<\/h2>\n

Gourav Sahu, principal of Radhe Lal Sahu Inter College, was deeply inspired by his father’s dedication to education. He shares, “Growing up in a village with limited opportunities, I saw firsthand how children struggled to access good schooling. My father’s decision to start a junior school in 1985 planted the seed of my passion for education.”<\/p>\n

After completing his MBA and working at a famous bank, Gourav realized his true purpose. “I realized my calling was not in the corporate world. He says, “I felt a strong obligation to continue my father’s legacy while enhancing my community through education.<\/p>\n

His determination grew stronger when he saw the lack of schools in his village. “We only had a primary school, and children had to travel nine kilometers for further education. I knew this had to change,” he recalls. In 2014, his efforts led to the establishment of a school, recognized up to Class 10 by the U.P. Board.<\/p>\n

Overcoming Challenges<\/h2>\n

As the school grew, Gourav faced intense challenges as many families struggled to pay even the minimal fees. He says, “Seeing the hardships parents faced, we made a difficult but necessary decision to waive all fees for students in grades 6 to 12. It was a huge step, costing the school nearly 32 lakhs, but we couldn\u2019t let financial issues stop these children from learning.”<\/p>\n

Despite the financial strain, Gourav remained determined to support his students. “Education is a lifeline for these children, and I knew we had to do everything possible to ensure their studies continued without disruption,” he shares. His compassion and commitment to the community truly reflect his belief in the power of education to bring change.<\/p>\n
