Who is Tushar Verma?
In simple words, he is an ordinary man who paved the way to achieving his dreams of becoming a successful banking professional despite growing up in a small middle-class family. His journey inspires many, especially his parents, close friends, and the people around him.
He was raised in Lucknow in a small, middle-class household with his father, mother, and younger sister. From a young age, he adopted the principles of diligence and determination, which would later help him navigate the hurdles of life.
Early Life
His educational journey began in a government school, where he quickly stood out as a top student thanks to his passion for learning. “With a keen interest in commerce, I consistently ranked among the top 10 throughout my academic career.” He proudly shared, “My love for the English language was especially notable, driven by the encouragement of my English teacher, who inspired me to excel not just in English but across all subjects.”
Though known for his academic focus, Tushar was also an active and spirited student, always participating in discussions and debates.

Facing the Hurdles
During secondary school, Tushar experienced a moment that changed his career path. After choosing commerce, he visited one of the reputed banks in India and was treated poorly by a staff member. This experience sparked a realization—he wanted to work in banking and finance to ensure customers were always treated with respect. That moment shaped his goal: to improve customer service in the financial industry.
Growing up in a middle-class family, he was worried about financing his education when he came across Varthana. Determined to pursue his education, he opted for financial support from an institution providing educational loans to deserving students. “After conducting research, I submitted a loan application on the Varthana website.” This assistance allowed Tushar to concentrate on his studies in the ICICI PGPRM Programme at NIIT, Delhi, free from financial worries.
“The simple loan procedure was approved within one week, with online documentation. This helped me enroll in a reputable college to pursue my MBA.”
He balanced his studies with his job as a relationship manager at a leading bank. Passionate about customer service, he ensured clients had the best experience, treating them with respect and empathy.
However, being new to the banking industry, he found it difficult to communicate, particularly when conducting interviews in English. Recognizing its significance, Tushar dedicated himself to enhancing his skills through YouTube and online courses. His commitment led to success, and he slowly gained confidence in communicating effectively.
Living the Dream
Tushar’s interest in banking intensified as he strived to build expertise and secure a salary package of 35-40 lakh. “I saw challenges as chances to learn, always enhancing my skills and knowledge,” he proudly shared.
“I view education loans not as burdens but as investments.”
Balancing his MBA and job, Tushar depended on the help of his family. His parents encouraged him to follow his aspirations with diligence and honesty, while his younger sister looked up to him as a source of inspiration, pushing him even more.
On the other hand, he faced professional success as well where his clients were impressed by his exceptional customer service, friendly demeanor, and unwavering dedication. He was satisfied as he improved his banking experience gradually.
Looking forward, Tushar is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and expanding in the banking industry. His travels showed him the importance of perseverance, dedication, and the impact of aspirations.
