Challenges in implementing Educational Technology

The following challenges may make educators think twice about implementing educational technology:

Financial issue:  Most school administrators find it unsafe to invest in costly digital devices when they are already using affordable conventional teaching equipment.

Lack of professional training: Most schools have access to various digital equipment but educators need the proper training to use it. Lack of confidence makes them continue following the conventional method.

Network availability: A lot of schools in rural areas lack access to a good internet connection to run e-learning causing administrators to avoid using technology in the classroom.

Though there are difficulties in equipping the school with technology, implementing it may enhance learning outcomes. Free internet resources, offline e-contents, individualized learning materials, and chances for advanced learning benefit parents, teachers, and students alike. School districts can adopt new technologies with the knowledge that they are making a wise investment in the future of their students.
