After finishing her education, Majesh found herself teaching at a private academy for four years. During this time, she realized, “Teaching isn’t just about books and exams; it’s about making a difference in society.” Inspired by this deeper purpose, she decided to create a school where children could learn and grow. She believes, “Every child deserves a chance to shine, and education is the key to unlocking their potential.” This marked the beginning of her journey to empower young minds and make a lasting impact on the world.

Starting The School
In 1999, Majesh’s dream came true when she founded Modern Millennium Public School in Khand Gawadi village, Kota. She shares, “Our goal was to provide education that would empower young minds and help them overcome obstacles. I ventured into education entrepreneurship to forge my own path and spread my passion for teaching to a wider audience.”
Challenging The Murmurs
Starting a new school brings challenges, and Majesh faced doubt and hatred when she began hers. She says, “I’ve heard whispers about my ability to run a school, or people saying I was just in it for money.” Nevertheless, she remained firm, saying, “I ignored the criticism and kept my eyes on my goal.” She adds, “Even before starting the school, I helped children who couldn’t afford educational materials.”
Majesh emphasizes, “The unwanted criticisms were disregarded, and I continued to focus on my goal.” She adds, “This served as a foundation for my school, reflecting the values of quality education and commitment to inclusivity.”
During the school’s early years, there were tough times with poor facilities and leaky roofs. But Majesh says, “We’ve overcome each challenge with our team’s determination and grit, now expanding to a 2-story building for a better learning environment.” With a smile, she adds, “Our journey, which began with hardships, has turned into a tale of community development and transformation.”

The Modern Millennium Public School is known for its commitment to excellent education. She says, “Our school prioritizes the child’s development by offering affordable tuition fees and continuous communication with parents, showing our dedication to education over profit.” Majesh has challenged the idea of a profit-focused education system, emphasizing the importance of knowledge and values over wealth accumulation.

Varthana has played an integral part in Modern Millennium Public School’s road to improvement. Majesh says, “When we faced the initial uncertainty of seeking financial aid from other companies, Varthana came in to provide invaluable support.” She continues, “The loan we received from Varthana was utilized for building the basic infrastructure and upgrading other essential facilities to accommodate the students for a conducive learning experience.”
